Chartway is pleased to congratulate two team members on their recent promotions. Jacqueline Jackson has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of legal, assistant general counsel. Jace White has been promoted to the position of vice president of talent acquisition & engagement.

Jacqueline Jackson

Jackson joined Chartway in 2021 as director of enterprise risk management and compliance, after working nine years at Century Federal Credit Union. She is recognized as a compliance expert within our industry and regularly speaks on compliance topics for the National Association of Federally Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU).

“Jackie has been an integral part of our team since joining Chartway,” said president and CEO, Brian Schools. “She is known as a Chartway cheerleader, compliance champion and coach whenever needed. Her unwavering commitment and expertise have significantly elevated our compliance processes and standards.”

In her new role as vice president of legal, assistant general counsel, Jackson will be evaluating and advising on all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, reviewing commercial contracts, reviewing credit union policies and processes, and directing or assisting in litigation matters. She holds a JD from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Jace White

Twenty-four years ago, in 1999, White began his journey with Chartway as a part-time teller. During his noteworthy tenure with the credit union, he’s succeeded in various roles across multiple departments, from retail banking to lending. His extensive experience with Chartway and exceptional people skills led him to join the HR/training department in 2005.

“Jace has been a key player in HR and talent acquisition, driven by his passion for helping people and talent for bringing top-tier candidates to our team,” said Schools. “His promotion is a testament to his dedication, innovative thinking, and commitment to our shared goals; and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact he will continue to make in his new role.”

In his role as vice president of talent acquisition & engagement, White will be responsible for developing internal and external recruitment strategies and overseeing enterprise programs that support the culture, increase team member engagement, and develop talent at all levels.  White holds a degree in Business Administration from Dixie State University.
