Chartway Credit Union proudly congratulates Jared B. Perry, 2nd vice chair of the Chartway Board, who Utah Business magazine recently named one of Utah’s CEOs of the year. Perry, CEO of the nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish Utah, has served on Chartway’s Board of Directors since 2017.
“We’re very fortunate to have Jared on our credit union’s Board of Directors,” said Brian Schools, Chartway’s president & CEO. “This award recognizes his unique combination of business acumen and passion for charitable causes. His career working with children and families facing medical challenges aligns seamlessly with our corporate values and philanthropic spirit, and we’re grateful for his counsel and leadership.”
Each year, Utah Business celebrates accomplished business leaders with its list of CEOs of the Year. The honorees are selected not only for their demonstrated leadership and accomplishments but also for their efforts to change the way business is done in Utah.
In accepting this honor, Perry acknowledged Make-A-Wish (MAW) Utah’s staff, volunteers, and donors and credited the children and families served by MAW Utah as his inspiration to strive for excellence in his work. This commitment extends to his volunteer service on Chartway’s corporate board and his role in hosting the Chartway Promise Foundation’s annual “Putting for Promises” golf tournament held each May in Lehi, Utah.
