Every February, hearts tend to open a little wider. This year, Chartway Credit Union is channeling that spirit into something truly magical: helping a three-year-old girl named Paisley--experience her dream trip to Disney World and Peppa Pig Land.

Paisley is bravely battling congenital heart disease, and like many medically fragile children, she's wished for a moment of pure joy. Through the Chartway Promise Foundation and its long-standing partnership with Make-A-Wish Utah, that moment is within reach.

A Month of Giving, Made Simple

The "Give With All Your Heart" campaign runs February 1-28 and invites both Chartway members and the broader community to participate. Donations can be made in a branch, through a Chartway account, on the Promise Foundation's website, or even via Venmo @ChartwayPromise.

Christine Wilson, executive director of the Chartway Promise Foundation, describes the campaign as an invitation to come together around a child who deserves a little magic. "Even a small donation can help bring her wish to life," she shared, emphasizing how accessible giving has become.

With a goal of raising $5,000--roughly the cost of an average wish--every contribution directly supports Paisley and children like her.

Why This Campaign Matters

For Chartway, this isn't just philanthropy--it's part of their identity. Rebecca Riordan, the credit union's chief people & culture officer and president of the Promise Foundation, explains that the organization's purpose extends far beyond financial services. "It gives our members and the public a direct way to support children and families when it matters most," she said. "This campaign reflects who we are--connected to our communities and committed to making a difference."

Two Magical Nights of Surprise Wish Reveals

As February unfolds, the excitement builds toward two annual events where wishes are revealed in front of cheering crowds.

Promise Night at the Arena - Norfolk, VA Wednesday, February 11 at 7 p.m. Old Dominion University vs. Marshall Men's Basketball Chartway Arena, Norfolk, VA

Before Paisley's big moment, another Promise Hero will receive a surprise wish reveal on the basketball court, thanks to the Foundation's partnership with Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia.

Promise Night at the Grizzlies - West Valley City, UT Wednesday, February 25 at 7 p.m. Utah Grizzlies vs. Tahoe Knight Monsters Maverik Center, West Valley City, UT

This is where Paisley's wish will be revealed--right on the ice, surrounded by hockey fans, friends, family, and a community that has rallied behind her.

These events bring together partner charities, supporters, board members, team members, and dozens of Promise Heroes whose lives have been touched by the Foundation's grants. It's a true reminder of what generosity can do.

A Legacy of Impact

The Chartway Promise Foundation's reach is wide and meaningful. In 2025 alone, it awarded over $1 million in grants to 33 partner organizations across Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Those funds helped grant 90 wishes, build backyard playsets, pack thousands of hospital bags, provide eye exams and glasses, support outdoor adventures, and create joyful experiences for children facing medical challenges.

And Chartway's commitment doesn't stop with the Foundation. Across its markets, the credit union invests in financial education, scholarships, crisis relief, bilingual services, and partnerships that expand access for underserved communities. Team members volunteer regularly, strengthening neighborhoods and uplifting families.

How You Can Be Part of the Magic

Paisley's wish is just one of many, but it represents something bigger: the power of a community to bring joy, hope, and smiles to children who need it most.
