Virginia Beach, VA (April 19, 2022) – Chartway is proud to announce that it has welcomed Jared Johnstone as its vice president of business services.

Johnstone is a senior-level leader with more than 30 years of experience in credit union and banking operations, including business account services, new product development, risk mitigation, lending, regulatory compliance, and more.

Most recently, he served as the vice president of credit risk management for Mountain America Federal Credit Union, the president for Mountain America Financial Services, and the president of Mountain America Insurance Services. He also served on the ALM, enterprise risk, credit, and pricing committees, and was a member of its loan committee.

In his role as vice president of business services for Chartway, Jared will lead the business services team to strategically develop and implement initiatives to drive sustainable business processes and growth.
