You deserve fewer fees and better features for a brighter future.
With LifePlus, you not only have the option to earn dividends, but you can avoid monthly maintenance fees by:
Use your Visa Debit Card for purchases and ATM transactions.
Visa Debit Card purchases come directly out of your checking account and Visa’s Zero Liability coverage protects you when you sign for your purchase.
From Chartway’s own ATMs to the Co-Op nationwide network of ATM machines, you’ll be able to use your card anywhere. Check the ATM Locator for a machine near you.
When it comes to overdraft coverage, we have several options to help you prevent and cover overdrafts. We have three forms of overdraft coverage available for your LifePlus Checking account:
Link a savings or money market account to your checking account. You can easily transfer
money between your accounts to avoid an overdraft. And the best part? It’s at no cost to you.
Connect your line-of-credit to your checking account to cover your overdrafts. You don’t pay any
transfer fees, and the funds are available as soon as you pay down your balance. The only catch? Personal lines-of-credit are subject to interest and credit approval.
Chartway offers Overdraft Privilege in two amounts: $750 with an active direct deposit on your checking account and $500 without an active direct deposit on your checking account.
Would you like to extend your Overdraft Privilege coverage on your LifePlus Checking account to include your everyday debit card transactions? If so, you can extend your coverage today by completing the online consent form at odp.chartway.com.

So you’re ready to make the switch? We’re here to help you open your new Chartway account, set up direct deposit, and close your existing account.
Your money matters, and we’re here to help you access your earnings no matter what.
If you’re a Federal employee, including military, start with Sign-Up Form 1199A. If you’re employed at a private company, contact your payroll or Human Resources department to get things started.
All set up? Great! You can start redirecting your automatic payments, bills, and debits to your new Chartway account.
Remember to let your outstanding checks clear from your old account. And don’t forget to reach out to your prior financial institution, and ask for your account to be closed.
